Leadership
As a Baptist Church we seek to discern together how God is leading and guiding us as a Church. Our Members are encouraged to input into this process and ultimately to vote for the vision and plans of the Church. We have Pastors and Ministry Leaders who provide leadership for day-to-day activities, regular planning, and the implementation of the agreed vision and plans of the Church. Our Elders Court (including our Pastors) provide governance and oversight of the Church.

Jono Edmeades - Interim Lead PastorJono is not just our new interim pastor, but a new pastor full stop, having just graduated from Carey Baptist College. Jono has grown up out west, leading and serving with youth in the Titirangi/Green Bay area throughout his teenage and university years. He’s done a few things to keep himself out of trouble – mown lawns, studied (for far too long!), interned in a project management consultancy and played a fair bit of hockey and golf. Jono will be around HBC for most of this year, helping to keep the ship steady and prepare us for a new season as we seek a new long-term pastoral leader.

Mission team - This team meets regularly to shape recommendations and make decisions about our support of local and global mission.
Music team - Musicians and singers who lead us in Worship each week.
Finance team - A group of financially minded people who provide accountability and support for the Treasurer.
